June Rosate Coryer, Summer Camp Director
June Rosate Coryer is originally from Schenectady and began her theatrical career playing the Mock Turtle in the Mohohasen High School Drama Club production of Alice in Wonderland. She has received her degree in theater from Plattsburgh State University, with concentrations in costuming, performance, and directing. Following her college graduation, June embarked on a 10 year career working as the production manager for The Costumer in Schenectady, NY.
Currently, she is a 5th grade teacher in the Shenendehowa district at Tesago Elementary School. As faculty director for the Drama Club, she has written original scripts and adapted classic children’s stories for the stage. In addition to her work in schools, June has been an active member of community theater, performing with Schenectady Light Opera, Schenectady Civic Playhouse, and the Albany Civic playhouse.
