Rob Spring, Instructor/Music Director
Originally from Glens Falls, Rob moved to NYC in 1997 where he earned his BA in Theatre/Speech and Minor in Music Education from Wagner College. Upon graduating, he sang and tap danced cross-country with the ‘01 Nat’l Tour of Crazy For You, and the ‘02 Nat’l Tour of 42nd Street (Billy Lawlor). In between touring and auditioning, Rob worked as an accompanist at NYU, as a private vocal coach in Manhattan, and as music director for various college, high school and regional theatrical productions. His credits also include Goodspeed Opera House, Theatre By the Sea, and The Carousel Music Theatre. Though Rob’s mom, Ginger Benack, and wife, Rosie, still teach dance, Rob sticks to playing piano rather than tap dancing…it’s easier on the knees. During the day, Rob owns and operates Rob Spring Photography in Saratoga Springs.
