Upcoming Programs

This high energy workshop will allow young performers to flex their creativity and create all new comedy sketches which will be performed in our own showcase, much like hit sketch shows such as “Saturday Night Live”. While studying comedians and sketches from the likes of Key and Peele, SNL, and several newer creators who have conquered the internet comedy scene, we will discover what truly makes a sketch pop, and work together to create our own! Working together with director, playwright, and competitive improviser Spencer Boyce, these sketches will be brought to life and staged with full lights, sets, costumes, and more! This workshop is for the performer who yearns for more agency in their art making, wanting to see what it’s like to create a piece from the ground up, AND for the casual comedy fan who just wants to have some fun making people laugh.
