STAND-UP COMEDY LAB
Learn techniques to enhance your comedy writing skills while workshopping a stand-upset that will be showcased at a virtual show with Izzi Cavotta!
Ages 15+

MOVE YOUR STORY
Move Your Story is a multigenerational choreography extravaganza where participants will work to collaboratively create choreographic phrases. Students will learn about repetition, building a dance phrase, pulling choreography inspiration from narrative, and how to stage their choreography for the camera. We will investigate different styles of choreography and storytelling with movement in a series of 3-week units and culminate the semester with a choreography sharing.
February 2nd - March 9th - Tuesdays from 4-5pm (3 weeks with each teacher)

Join Christopher Michael Howard every Tuesday evening from 7-8m to workout! Christopher is a trainer at Equinox gyms in NYC! Every week is a different workout including Pilates, Barre, HIIT, Stacks and so much more! High School through Adults Welcome!

FILM & PLAY CLUB
Join us as we explore different plays through group readings and watching classic, indie and blockbuster films that you may have never seen before! There will be a group discussion about each play and movie after we have completed the viewing/reading each Wednesday from 5pm-8pm. Next Session begins January 13 - March 31 - Open to ALL Ages (Adults encouraged to join)

BEHIND THE SCENES: STUDENT ONE ACT PLAYS
This Program is ON HOLD until COVID-19 numbers go down.
Join Leigh as she mentors students through SCT's first Student plays! You can apply to be a Director, Stage Manager and/or Actor. We will be going through the entire Directing/Stage Management process including choosing plays, scheduling, casting, blocking, dry tech, tech, creating your own minimal set/costumes and more! The Actors will learn and explore fundamentals of acting through creating a play and how to work with a new Director/Stage Manager. Each One Act will have a maximum of 4 characters. We will rehearse at 617 Maple Ave and will live stream the final plays!
Grades 9-12
There is no cost to be in this program. If you are accepted you will commit to getting a minimum of 10 people to stream the Play Festival!
